Biography
I am an associate professor at the UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, at the same time holding affiliations with the Centre for Heart Lung Innovation, and Legacy for Airway Health, UBC. I am the principal investigator of the Respiratory Evaluation Sciences Program (RESP).
My main areas of interest are predictive analytics (clinical prediction modeling) and the epidemiological modeling. My applied area of interest is chronic respiratory diseases, namely asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). In my lab, we use a variety of quantitative techniques to project the outcomes of medical decisions, both at the bedside (clinical decisions) and at the population level (policy decisions). Please browse this website for projects and publications related to these areas.
