Overview

The Respiratory Evaluation Sciences Program (RESP) conducts advanced research in epidemiology, health outcomes, and health economics to improve understanding and care for chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma and COPD.

Based at UBC’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, our multidisciplinary team applies real-world evidence, clinical data, and simulation modelling to assess the effectiveness and value of health policies and interventions. Our research is consistently supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and other national funding agencies.
